For menstrual hygiene, it's a matter of life

Every year on May 28th, the world celebrates International Menstrual Hygiene Day. On this occasion, ABEJF Burundi joins the international community in raising awareness about the importance of menstrual health and hygiene. The silence surrounding menstruation continues to fuel misconceptions, shame, and discrimination faced by many girls and women. Informing, raising awareness, and encouraging open, honest, and taboo-free dialogue about menstruation contributes to protecting health, building self-confidence, and preserving the dignity of women and adolescent girls. Every girl deserves: - Access to safe and appropriate menstrual products; - A clean, safe, and respectful environment; - Accurate information on menstrual hygiene; - The right to experience menstruation without shame or stigma. Together, let's break the silence and build a more inclusive, equitable, and dignified society for all. #MenstrualHealth #Let'sTalkAboutPeriods #DignityForAll #MenstrualHygiene #TeenageHealth #ABEJFBurundi 🇧🇮
